An elegant and unique wand, with a beautifully patterned ash handle contrasting with the dark, tight grain of the sapele stem. A wand for those able to walk the line between light and darkness.

There are not many trees that could surpass the ash in cultural importance. Norse mythology refers to ash as the Yggdrasil, the very tree upon which the Earth itself was balanced. At the trees roots lived the Three Norns, beings that controlled the fates of all life in the branches above.

Sapele is an African hardwood and part of the Mahogany family. This piece came from an old writer's desk. It is a beautiful, deep red/brown with a dark grain and a natural shine.
